I just got back from an all expenses paid trip to St. Louis to help start Life at HOK yesterday. Not only was it an awesome experience to meet so many coworkers from all over the world and reconnect with some that I already knew, I got to visit a city I have never been before. Not to mention HOK pretty much built the entire city! Everywhere we went was another building by HOK!
Anywho, I can't wait to go back to St. Louis for the APX convention. There were so many places I wanted to see but didn't get a chance. I did get to go to the arch, but I didn't have enough time to take the tram to the top. Apparently it takes 60 mins round trip. So if you want to see some of the pics, you can find them here.
Ok. So I was wrong about the tons of updates in the month of September. We've both been really busy, especially with football season.. um.. I mean work. Yea.. That's it!
Anywho, this IS big news though. We have decided to move the wedding down to San Diego, just because it's a bit cheaper, and we have access to a bit more resources. Don't worry. The wedding will still be on the same date as before: August 14, 2009.
The wedding ceremony will now be at Our Mother of Confidence in La Jolla area.
The wedding reception will be at The Prado at the world famous Balboa Park.
Ok.. it has been a month since the last entry. But there is a reason for that.. we haven't really done anything... and football season has started... We won the first game today against Virginia! Woohoo! Go Trojans!
Well, I guess that's not quite entirely true. I did get my dress 
. They said that it would be ready by like November or December.. then it needs to go into alterations.. cuz I'm short.. But if you want to see it, go ahead and email me!
We've, mostly I, also started narrowing down photographers, meaning throwing out flyers, postcards, emails, etc of the places that are out of our budget.
Ok.. it's bedtime for Pearl now. and lets hope we have tons of updates by this time next month!
Yay! We finally set the date!!!!
The wedding will be on Friday, August 14, 2009 @ 3pm. The ceremony will be held at St. John Fisher Church in Rancho Palos Verdes. For all you APX people out there, just take the broomball road (aka Crenshaw) and keep going pass the mall. At the top of the hill is where the church is.
