Kevin diving for the garter

Did we mention that our photographer did a fantastic job at the wedding? We absolutely love so many of his shots. We are so grateful that Nick was able to create an archive of so many memories. He just put up some of his favorite shots on his blog, and besides that, some of our photos made it into the portfolio on his website (go to Weddings II).

Pearl and I are sitting in the United terminal at LAX, waiting for our plane and we figured we should work on some website updates.

Big catch.... no wireless unless we want to pay for TMobile access.

Good thing I have a jailbroken iPhone with tethering enabled (no AT&T doesn't support it yet). So, we have an iPhone, tethered to Pearl's laptop via Bluetooh, which in turn has internet connection sharing turned on via wireless, which I'm connecting to.

It only took 3 seperate devices, using 3 different wireless protocols (3G GSM, Bluetooth, 802.11n) to accomplish, but we're both online, at the same time, while in the airport, and not paying a penny extra for it.

No Turning Back Now

official invitation

We dropped the invitations in the mail on Monday, so they should be arriving in people's mailboxes in the next day or two if they haven't already.

If you've received your invitation, you can r.s.v.p. online and if you can't make up your mind about your dinner selection, we've also provided details on the menu for your convenience.

We truly hope each and every one of you can come and celebrate with us.

I did it!

I passed the first of my ARE licensing exams. It took the full 6 - 8 weeks to find out, but I passed the Materials and Methods / Building Construction exam. One down, seven more to go, and I'll be a licensed architect.

Thanksgiving Updates
Anthony  -   3 Dec 2008

We had narrowed the list of potential photographers down to 5 options, and on Friday we got to meet with 3 of them in a whirlwind of driving around San Diego county. Of course as we knew going into this, good photography is expensive, but with the right photographer, well worth the cost. We're still going to try to meet with the other two photographers, and then make our final selection by Christmas. We also met with a family friend who's a florist on Saturday, so we are keeping on top of the huge list of things to do for a wedding.

Meanwhile, there's plenty of other stuff keeping us insanely busy. Pearl is studying for the LEED exam which she's taking on the 8th. I'm studying for the ARE Building Design/Materials and Methods exam, the first of my architect's licensing exams, on the 9th. On top of that, I'm preparing an interactive projected art installation for the 2008 KAA Art Expo.
